Note: If you have a multi-day event with different starting and ending times on the various days, do not use the Start Time and Stop Time pulldowns. Instead, enter that information free-form in the Description area. For instructions on how to enter this information, please see the Example below. Hint: In fact, you can copy-and-paste the below example directly into your Description area, and then update the corresponding content.

In the Events Module, you can add the following coded-features to description and/or directions.

Multiple Paragraphs:
The form is as follows:
<p>First paragraph</p>

<p>Second paragraph</p>

<p>Etc.</p>

Hard Right / Line Break:
Unlike a new paragraph designation, the hard line break does not add space between the lines. This line break can be used to start new lines in a verse of poety, for example. The form is as follows:
<p>First line<br>
Second line<br>
etc. </p>

Bolded Text:
The form is as follows:
<b>word or phrase</b>

Italicised Text:
The form is as follows:
<i>word or phrase</i>

<p>This annual event celebrates publication of <i>The Philanthropist</i>, the first anti-slavery newspaper in the United States, which was published at this location.</p>
